Ponmudi Trip

For long we have been planning to have a trip to some place off the city ....And finally we came up with ponmudi as our destination . We decided to go the day after OBA ..

We started off from the city by around 11.30 in 3 bikes and 2 cars .. there were 15 of u on this trip ..they were thadiyan ,babu, manu v ,veni, bomb, yedhu kp, bhai, sankari, aswin, rishi, benkim, ajith raju, vivek, binas and basil ....

We had to pick binas on our way to ponmudi and we continued our journey .... as we reached kallar the whole surrounding turned lush green there was a whole silence associated with tat place ...there wasn,t much traffic either .... just few bikers and tourist vehicles on road ...

The place was so picturesque tat ,we probably wanted to stop at a every place and click photos ..... after a while we reached the first of the 22 hairpin curves tat we had to negotiate...but thadiyan and kp found it no difficult and with out much delay we reached the top ..

We took our entry pass and moved on to the highest point ...

The place was of so much fog tat we couldn't see for more than 10 mts ahead....we scaled the rocks..made all kind of strange noise ...we almost turned into hooligans hehee..

He had a bit of struggle to reach the parking lot .. as we got lost ....

We spent almost 2 hrs there at ponmudi . by around 4 we started our return trip ...

Disaster struck us on our way down .. tadiyan's car's tyre went flat .. but aswin was quick with changing the tyre ..( chaps seems to be all set to join ferrari after his b tech hehehe ) ...........

................ but we had something even graver..tadiyante car inte pertol tirnu .....haha . then we had to go 22km by bike to get petrol ...after refueling we started by around 6.00 ....

En route trivandrum we some how got split . with thadiyan car and my bike going one way and manu's car and viveks bike goin another ..

Now comes the mega one.. i had a call on my phone and i stopped by a junction ..tadiyan came and parked his car right behind my bike .. suddenly a police jeep came in ...asked all those who were in the car to come out .. and with out any further word asked us to get into the jeep ....i and benkim who were on bike was also asked to follow ... they took us to the police station ...

It was real gud xperience ... they mistook us for drunk tourist ..but as weren't drunk we were in all smile .. the biggest comic part ...when veni asked me to a photo when we were inside the police jeep ....we were left as soon as we reached the station ... but the dumb fucker Si did fine us for not having an xpired pollution certificate . ...

All of use got together at kowdiar park .. had a last round of chat .. and then moved on to sindhoor park for dinner ...and after dinner we bid one last goodbye and went back home ..

It was probably one of the most memorable trips tat we had ....and of couz the most eventfully one .hhehee....

Hope we all get to be part of many more such trips .....

Trip to veli

Few of our frs like babu, vinudas and basil came a days prior to the OBA day. So after having spend almost half of the day at manu's home. We set out to veli .. we reached there by around 4 pm .... even though it was evening the sun didn't show us much mercy.

We waited for another half an hr .and then went boating in two row boats .... as usall cameras flashed a 100 times ..then we had a race of our own .. with bhai , manu v , myself , and babu in one boat , and tadiyan , basil amd vinudas on teh other .. even though we out numbered them , we could defeat the joint might of thadiyan, vinudas and basil .. they won it with ease...

After that we walked up to the beach, and sat their for some time .....we didn't wait for the sunset, we moved on.....

On return trip bhai wanted to test his driving skills .. .. but it dint last long as we were stopped by the police ..and was later fined for not having his seat belts on .. hehe . was funny though ..

We came back to the city ..by 6.pm ajith raju and sankaran had come to tvm by train , they joined us from palyam and then we moved on to kowdiar park, spent some time at there , had dinner from a tattukada .and we went back home ..

OBA day

Yeah the mega one .... The one event tat no kazak would really want to miss .....this is one occassion at which we get to relive our old memories walking down the lane where we were nurtured and of couz , the one place where in u can find frs for a lifetime ....

this time we xpected about 45 of us to come for the OBA .....but as usual some had their own engagements and hence couldn't make it to the function ...... about 40 of us made it to the function this year ..

anyways all of from trivandrum decided to go as one lot .... so we all left for school in 4 cars and 2 bikes ,....we reached there by around 10.30 ....

we were welcomed by a few of our dear buddies who had already begun the party in shivaji house .....suddenly the mood changed .. it was all hugs ..pats and stuff ...

it was really great to see a few people like arum m , vyshak and all who were in hibernation for long ......

had a starter at the house captains room in shivaji house .. and v started off to xplore the schools.

A few of us played volley ball with the school team, only to find our self in dismay ...... 3 yrs off the court , the skills weren't as sharp as they were .... but .. once the match was over .. we had match of our own .. .. it was great fun .... ..

after tat we went to the new swimming pool ... took few photos and moved on to the school wing .. .. we did pay a visit to harshan's bust .....the school had a totally new look with marble corridors , tile floored classrooms , tiled pavements .... we didn't see any of those wooden chairs tat we used to carry, hehe.. but i did miss those ..classrooms look more or less like a computer room now ...
After that we had lunch at our very own school mess ...

after lunch we dint have anything much to do .. so . we just sat at the Harshan pavilion and talked our hearts out .... sharing all those wonderful memories . .. and the new college stuff ...and all ..

then we had one final round of photo shoot . we were looks for something out of the box .. and with in no time . we found ourself on top of the fighter plane .... it was a real good scene ....

by 6 .30 we left the school campus .. those who had to go to Thampanoor. went by the school bus .. ..while other took of in their own vehicles ..
we stopped by at thimmas house at Chavadimukku . and around 16 of us were there at his home tat night ....

Even though the OBA get more and more boring with each passing year .... we as frs never gets bored of each other .... may it be after 10 or even 50 yrs l. we would still be bonded by the wonderful friendship tat we have ... Great to have u guys as pals yarrr....

Boating at Kappil

By around 10 in the morning .I (bhai) reached manu v's home ...and as usual i could find bomb ( bloody duffer didnt go to college today also ) and veni (who came from kotayam on the previous day) sitting and gulp whatever ever eatables they could find there , and with my arrival thing got a bit faster and within no time we emptied all the stuff ....

We couldn't find a place to go .. so we searched the net , but still couldn't find anything much interesting .. it was then tat i (bhai) came up with this idea to go to kapil which is a few kms off varkala railway station ....

we all got into the car and started off with out any further delay .......by the time we reached kazhakootam .. manu v started to feel sleepy , so gautham took the wheel ...along with it came a shift in the music being played ....things moved on to rock and heavymetal ....(ohh the damn sound blew my ear drums off)......but some how all 3 of us ( veni manu v and myself) managed to sleep amidst this so called music...... while bomb kept screaming ..."eda patikalle... uranagteda ... enzhunte irkeda . "hehe .. pavam vilichatalate no use ... his cry went unheard.....
we weren't much sure about the way from varkala railway station onwards ..so we stopped by and asked for the route .. .. we went as per the directions given ,only to find a horrid road , gud LORD it was one of the worst tracks tat we had come across till date......and with kappil approaching green pastures began to spring up , bomb as usual asked for the camera , but to our disappointment we Left it back home ....Bomb lost all his mood ..the guy who was driving with lot of enthusiasms til then suddenly shifted moods to tat of an art film hero ....after almost 7 km ride from the railway statoinf we finally reached kapil . .

where we were welcomed by the site of an empty boating area .. our initial doubts of where they still have boating is this area was overcome by our site of a person at the ticket counter and a few life jackets hung to dry ....

the damn place was a mess yarrr ..... all we were left with were .. a few row boats ...

We booked one for an hour and started off .. it took us some time to get used to rowing the boat .. but we did mange it well ..veni and bomb did most of the rowing while i (bhai) and manu v slouched back to have a splendid view of the backwaters around...we did manage a few flicks with manu v's mobile camera ..but we did really miss our cybershot ..

but in total the whole boating trip was a real gud xperience...

Now it was with Gautham on his bike to Yedhu K P's home as Gautham couldn't come 4 our last visit to his home because of his exams........

It was a 180 km to and fro as i newer touched the handle. On our way back we stepped into bablu's home as there were a gang there. Livin, Devan & Binas were there at his home. We decided to stay there 4 the night and reached back home by 9 am.

Nithin's Sister's marriage

It was my first visit to kozhikode to attend Nithin's sister's marriage. It was a much better city than what i expected it to be.
It was much cleaner than trivandrum.

It was embarrassing that only 11 of kazak 2k5 was there for the function. There were about 30-35 guys from TKM (Nithin's college).
It was shameful that many withdrew from the tour at the last moment with no reason at all and some others with f**kin silly reasons. Many made reasons just for the sake of it.

The 11 guys who where there were Abin Babu, Anup venugopal, Yedu Kishan, Binas Basheer, Vishnu JJ, Rejeesh V R, Livin V, Vishnu R P, Vishnu K P, Vineeth V S and myself.

Now it was the turn of PUVAR

We were in a delema to find a place for us to have a ball. Then we decided to make it to Puvar. It was not that good place as we expected it to be. We walked to and fro for a few kilometers through the beach as we didnt felt wet ourselves as we didnt find the water that good.

Trip to Kallar

A trip to kallar today just as planned.............and was an enjoyable one. It was great to be a part of it. The only drawback was that it was only five of us who where there. There should have been few more guys with us for the trip.

we had real fun .... even though it was shortlived as life guards intervened and asked us to push off...
we tried to make it to the famous light house by the stroke of midnight....we managed to reach the foot of the light house..

Pathanapuram Visit

Me along with Rahul C, Thadiyan and Livin visited KP's home today. The journey was in Thadiyan's car. It took almost one and a half hours for the journey. Was a beautiful trip. We spent the whole day there. The lunch was wonderful at KP's home. The most interesting part of the trip was Livin's blunders. Also visited Kilimanoor palace on our way back. But it was too late to see anything there.
